Pequeña flor...



FLOWER IN THE CRANNIED WALL...


Flower in the crannied wall,
I pluck you out of the crannies,
I hold you here, root and all, in my hand,
Little flower—but if I could understand
What you are, root and all, and all in all,
I should know what God and man is.


FLOR QUE ESTÁS EN EL MURO AGRIETADO


Flor que estás en el muro agrietado
te arranco de tu grieta
y te sostengo aquí en mi mano, con tus raíces y todo.

Pequeña flor, si yo fuera capaz de entender
lo que eres, con tus raíces y todo
comprendería qué es Dios y qué es el hombre.
